I wish summer was back.
This new project I got is making me have a heart attack.
I remember just sleeping as long as I want.
That's destroyed when my alarm clock gives me a haunt.
I'm so tired.
I want to go to sleep.
Whoops, I remember my chapter test is today.
This makes me weep.
Oh jeez, homework's not done
If I don't start doing it,
The world of demerits will have begun
Forever seems like how much time on homework I spend
When will this nightmare ever really end?
But don't worry.
All the hours it took,
An how you crammed your brain with everything in the book
And how you studies so hard
Flash card after flash card
And you hope you explained everything the teacher expects
And running to class hoping for no demerits...
And then magically one day school's out for the year.
Inside you might jump up and cheer
And then on that day you might say
"Didn't school just start yesterday?"
